Having a cocktail barman at my 40th birthday party was really fantastic. It made it a really special evening and everyone loved it – even those people I thought would drink beer. Our barman, Charlie, was charismatic but very professional and, of course, made excellent cocktails. In fact all the staff at Mixology were great to deal with. I would definitely recommend them.

Mixology was always on my list to explore more, and I wanted to learn from the best.
I started my own research almost a year in order to search the right programme provider.
Since I flew from Asia, I registered all of their training courses.
From the first day of training, it was very organized and productive.
Sam, the instructor for Global Bartenders Course, was a industry professional and had various national and international experience.
The course was serious, but we had a lot of fun and share the knowledge and experiences.
Myles conducted the rest including Advanced Bartender Course & Advanced Molecular Mixology Course.
It was extremely bespoke and personal training since I was the only student. I felt I was very very lucky.
I highly recommend Mixology group to start. Myles and his team showed me the highest level of service and professionalism throughout my training.

I can highly recommend the Mixology Group. I attended the Beginners Cocktail course and it was everything I hoped it would be. I looked into a lot of different types of Cocktail ‘masterclasses’ but most seemed to be a 1/2 hr fun experience where you learn a cocktail or 2 and get drunk. And i’m sure they are all fun but I was looking for something a bit more thorough where I would really learn some cocktail skills. This was definitely the right course for that. Over 6 hours of instruction, with loads of practical chances to get behind the bar. Myles is a brilliant teacher, he knows his stuff and is passionate about cocktails but also makes it funny and has some good stories to tell. His theory behind teaching you the concept behind each drink rather than individual specific recipes is great, you learn the confidence to make the drinks but also then experiment at home. We tasted loads of different spirits and there were more cocktails than we could actually drink – how sad to see some of them go to waste! But Myles didn’t clock watch and the drinks flowed, I had to rush off as the course was still going half an hour past the finish time. Thank you Myles

Hi Zoe and team
I just wanted to pass on my, and the company’s, thanks for your team’s great support at the event on Friday.
It was a great success, your boys did a sterling job and I think over-exceeded the number of cocktails which were expected to be made.
Needless to say we will keep you on speed dial for any future outdoor events as the service, set up and management was excellent.
Thanks again
Best regards
Mandy

Mixology Group have been an integral part of our strategy for Fentimans brand plans over the last 2 years. We have worked very closely with them on many of our marketing and events campaigns and found them to be very professional, efficient and innovative in both logistical operations and bar/area design of key events like BBC Goodfood Show and Taste of London. They have also been consulted on various occasions for cocktails & mocktails drink design, product launches and speeches on our behalf at large industry events like the 2018 Vodka Summit. Their staff are fully trained on our brand and deliver fantastic service at all shows and events, we hope to continue our strong relationship going forward.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for Friday. The barmen were fantastic and I have had nothing but good feedback from everyone who came along, and I think there were some very very sore heads on Saturday morning…

Really great day. When first got out of taxi at location…wasn’t too sure!! As I had booked this I was a little nervous how it would go for the group. My apprehension didn’t last long though!! Miles was brilliant, really “made” the session. He is interesting, knows what he’s talking about and engaged well with everyone. A really great day. Also like to mention the other guy working with Miles, can’t recall his name. Very quiet, but a really nice, respectful guy…makes a good cocktail too.

Thank you so much for providing a unique team building experience. We had a lot of fun in our Molecular Masterclass and learned a lot too. You were very accommodating – we wish we could have stayed another two hours!

Mixology Group leans on Meiko to support cocktail classes
Mixology Group has chosen to work with Meiko glasswashers to cater for its increasingly popular drinks and bar training courses.
The Group runs approved and accredited courses in Brighton and also travels to provide training in cocktails and mixology, molecular mixology and bartenders certification.
Myles Cunliffe, director, Mixology Group, said that the growing trend for cocktails is reaching a new high, with more attention being paid to the provenance of drinks and the education of service staff.
