As promised the here’s the 2nd part of The Mixology Group’s trip down memory lane, into the Mixology Group Archives, the Cuban Nut Gun, filmed by the fantastic Mr Sam Sidgwick of ABV Media!
This tropical number combines the delicious cuban caramel flavours of Ron Cubay Anejo rum, with Noselar Hazelnut liqueur and freshly squeezed lemon juice, all topped off with a rich Ennis & Gunn Wheat Beer! A rum and beer cocktail, what more could you ask for!
What you need:
- 50ml Ron Cubay Anejo
- 20ml Noselar Hazelnut Liqueur
- Half a ripe lemon
- 1 bottle of Ennis & Gunn Wheat Beer
Combine your rum, the liqueur and a freshly squeezed half lemon (25ml) into a mixing glass and shake hard over ice! Single strain into a collins glass over cubed ice and top up with some crisp, chilled Ennis & Gunn Wheat Beer! Throw in a couple of straws and if you’re feeling fancy garnish with a dehydrated lemon wheel and a slither of cassia bark!
