Next week sees the launch of a menu which is subtly setting a new direction for drinks design and the cocktail bar experience in Brighton.

Working at Oki Nami, the renowned Brighton Sushi Restaurant, several years back, Sean DeRosa was brought back in early 2016 to take on the challenge of re-desigining the cocktail menu in the upstairs bar.

With the inaugural launch of MSKs Cocktail Craft and Drinks Design show this June, the Mixology Group director, Myles Cunliffe will be giving a speech on new and developing trends in drinks development and design, demonstrating cocktail canapés and dessert cocktails along with advice on the newest, most innovative ingredients available and how to incorporate them successfully into bar menus.
A range of other guests speakers and showcases will also be there on the day including Angel Salvador and Martin Lippo of 100% Barman!

The Mixology Group becomes official trainer for the Whisky Ambassador BII Accredited Course.
From April 2016 the Whisky Ambassador, founders of the only accredited Whisky training programme in the UK, have certified Myles Cunliffe, director of the Mixology Group alongside their expertly qualified trainer team to lead and teach the programme nationwide.
The Mixology Group’s Brighton based Mixology School is now the only training school in the country to be providing the unique, innovative Whisky Ambassador programme. The Mixology Group team will also be offering in-venue training, and London courses.

As promised the here's the 2nd part of The Mixology Group's trip down memory lane, into the Mixology Group Archives, the Cuban Nut Gun, filmed by the fantastic Mr Sam Sidgwick of ABV Media!
This tropical number combines the delicious cuban caramel flavours of Ron Cubay Anejo rum, with Noselar Hazelnut liqueur and freshly squeezed lemon juice, all topped off with a rich Ennis & Gunn Wheat Beer! A rum and beer cocktail, what more could you ask for!

From dry ice gin & tonic sorbets to glassware serves scientifically designed to enhance the way you enjoy drinking Whisky, the Nominees and Winners Bar at the NTAs 2016 was definitely the place to be on Wednesday 20th January 2016. And the Mixology Group were around to bring the party!
Alongside the teams from Liquor To Lips, Blackdown Artisanal Spirits, and Chillistick and Peter Spanton Drinks, the Mixology Group manned the VIP Indigo igloo bar of the o2 Arena for an extra special NTA after party.
